Throughout the year, the Commission on Stewardship offers Stewardship Workshops for parish clergy and lay stewardship leaders.The Stewardship Commission of the Diocese of Atlanta is offering its Fall Stewardship Workshop, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (lunch will be provided) on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at the Cathedral of St. Philip. The Workshop will be held in Rm #316, which is on the floor above the Atruim Entrance. (Up the stairs and go the the right) The workshop is designed to help parish clergy and lay stewardship leaders with responsiblity for planning and leading the stewardship effort in their parishes. Parishes are encouraged to send teams when possible.

Workshop topics will be scripture-based and practical. The topics are designed to help leaders evaluate the effectiveness of their present stewardship efforts and will discuss available programs and methods for organizing and targeting stewardship efforts not only for the fall campaign, but throughout the church year. There is no charge for the workshop, but please register online so that we can make plans for lunch and supplies.
